A farmer, family man, and fellow citizen from rural Illinois, Darren Bailey’s conservative roots run deep. Darren was born and raised in Louisville and is a proud third-generation farmer. Growing up on Bailey Family Farm, Darren learned at a young age what it means to work hard and earn an honest living. Today, Darren and his sons own and operate Bailey Family Farm. He grows corn, wheat, and soybeans, all while carrying on the traditions of one of America’s oldest occupations.

Gary is a family man who cherishes the time he spends with his four adult children and two grandchildren. He lost his wife and partner of 35 years last fall after a long battle against brain cancer. During this 52-month battle, hundreds of friends and family stepped up to show their constant support for Gary and his family. The love and support from his wife, family, and friends have provided him with the strength and encouragement to now focus on serving a larger community, Illinois.

Paul Schimpf is a Republican Candidate for Governor of Illinois. Most recently, he served as the Illinois Senator for the 58th Senate District, which covers most of Southwest Illinois. Prior to that, he was a Marine Corps infantry officer and prosecutor, where he was the Lead American Attorney Advisor for the trial of Saddam Hussein. Paul will clean up corruption in Illinois, fight to keep our veterans, families, and communities safe, and grow our economy for working families. Paul resides in Monroe County with his wife Lori and their two sons, Ethan and Garrett.

Robert Cruz was born and grew up on the East Side of Joliet. He attended Catholic schools and graduated from Providence Catholic High School. Cruz was the starting quarterback for two state championship football teams in the mid-’90s. He attended Millikin University in Decatur, Ill., and the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa, where he studied business administration.
After college, Cruz accepted a sales position with Cintas Corp. Management formally recognized his drive and comA long-time resident of Oak Lawn, Cruz is currently a business owner working in construction and development. He’s also serving a four-year term on the Oak Lawn Community High School District 29 board mitment to his duties by honoring him with a Winners’ Circle Sales Award, which is given only to the top 5% of the company.

Peggy Hubbard is a veteran, former police officer, and retired IRS analyst, and Harley enthusiast. She speaks out for what she believes in, keeps her word, and does what is right, even when it isn’t easy. Peggy was born a fighter in a St. Louis ghetto in 1964 and raised by a single mother with the help of her maternal grandparents, who made hard work and family values the centerpiece of her childhood. In 1984, Peggy enlisted in the United States Navy. She attended boot camp at NAS in Orlando, Florida and went on to serve on board various ships including USS Samuel Gompers AD 37, USS Yosemite AD 19, Naval Air Station (NAS) Alameda, NAS Vallejo, NAS Mare Island, and in the Navy Reserve

Attending Illinois Central College, I exceeded in being selected as an intern for a St. Jude Event. In May 2019 at the Illinois Community College of Journalism Association Spring Conference, I was awarded a Certificate for Best Journalism Article of 2019. I received the 2nd Place Mike Foster General Excellence Award 2019. I constructed with a team of eight amazing individuals, a complete graduation in Springfield in 2020 for all Illinois graduates when the Governor took it away. We recieved over 10,000 views from Edgar WatchDog Party Media alone. I constructed several Back the Blue Events to stand by law enforcement and protect their already strressful jobs! I currently run two home based businesses: One with Tupperware and another a home remodel business with my husband.
While attending Illinois Central College, I took an International Relations class, as well as several business related classes to further my education for future studies.
