When Is the Next Election?

The Illinois Primary Gubernatorial General Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.  (St. Patrick’s Day) Illinois will elect the Governor of Illinois along with some Congressman, State Senators and State Representatives.  The 17th Congressional District will elect State Senators 36, 47  and the State Representatives will include Districts 71, 72, 73 and 94.  The 2025-2026 election calendar can be found on our BE INFORMED page. 

How do I register to vote?
Contact the Rock Island County Republicans headquarters or County Clerk's  office.  For additional information visit our Be Informed and Voters Information page.
 
What is the National GOP platform?   State of IL GOP platform?
We Believe in America:  America First, Restoring the American Dream, Meeting state Energy Needs, Protecting our Transportation, Promoting Illinois Agri-business, Reforming our Government, Enhancing National Security.  Their platforms can be found on the National and State websites.
