The Rock Island County Republican Central Committee is looking for dynamic young individuals to assist with the day-to-day operations of the County Central Committee. Our internship Program is intended for highly motivated undergraduate students, with an interest in government and politics.
An internship with the County Central Committee is one of the best ways to begin a career in politics and government. Students will gain invaluable experience in field operations, political affairs, communications, research, local governments, congressional affairs, digital and traditional marketing, and fundraising. This is a great opportunity to build a resume and professional network.

As a Social Media Intern, you will have the opportunity to hone your video editing skills while immersing yourself in the heart of political activism. We’re not just looking for interns; we’re seeking future social media influencers who are ready to make an impact.
What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with our team to develop strategic social media campaigns that drive engagement and action.
  • Monitor social media trends and current events to keep our content relevant and timely. Assist in the development of social media strategies to reach and mobilize our target audience effectively.
