Get Involved - How to become a Republican Precinct Committeeman?
Becoming a Precinct Committeeman is one of the most rewarding ways to serve the Republican act the conduit of information from the party to the Republican candidates to get petition signal getting out the vote in the general election .

Precinct committeeman are be elected or appointed to represent their precinct.  They are the "boots on the ground" to spread information about our candidates.  Their responsibilities range from helping Republican candidates to get petition signatures to get out the vote.  To run for election to a county  the  individual should file a statement of candidacy, loyalty oath, and petition by the deadline date for are elected every two years in the primary election.  They can also be appointed to the party if no committeeman is already serving in a precinct.  The only requirements are that they a U.S. citizen, 18 years old, and a registered voter in that precinct.

Help be your party's "boots on the ground"!  If you are interested in serving as a precinct committeman form and email to Chairman Mielke at ricogopchairman@druemielke.com.  Your chair can discuss your interest and let you know about opportunities to serve your precinct.

A Republican Precinct Committeeman represents the GOP voters of his or her precinct at the County Republican Party level.  But most importantly, a Republican Precinct Committeeman is the "face of the GOP" within the precinct.  In many cases, a Republican Precinct Committeeman might be the only party official a voter ever meets in person.  This grassroots volunteer position is really what one makes of it.  Some do more than others. But the Republican Precinct Committeeman’s job is in essence all about helping to grow the GOP and working to deliver the maximum number of Republican votes from his or her precinct on Election Day.  Precinct Committeemen comprise the core of any grassroots effort and no political campaign can be successful without these front-line GOP ambassadors.  The principle means of doing the job is just an extension of what most people already do – talking to the neighbors.  If your neighborhood or precinct is not covered by a Precinct Committeeman please let us know.

Duties of a Republican Precinct Committeeman.  The duties of the Republican Precinct Committeeman are, but not limited to:

THE POWER OF PARTY PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN CAN'T BE UNDERESTIMATED

ST. LOUIS - "The Most Powerful Office In The World Is NOT The President of the United States," says a popular pamphlet some say was penned by conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly as far back as the late 80s.
While her nationwide Eagle Forum activist group still sells the brochure online, Mrs. Schlafly's name isn't listed as the author.
The mystery of the pamphlet's origination continues - as does the power of the information inside. It succinctly encourages everyday Americans to get involved with the local organization of the political party of their choice to  make a difference in local, state and national politics.
