A life long resident of the Quad Cities, Sherri grew up on Port Byron. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Augustana College, graduating with Cum Laude Honors. In addition to serving as a trustee on the Port Byron Village Board, Mrs. Moorhusen was the Constituent Services Specialist for the 17th Congressional District in the local office of Congressman Bobby Schilling. Sherri is presently serving a 3rd term as an elected Precinct Committeeman, Cordova.
