When Is the Next Election?
The Illinois Primary Gubernatorial General Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. (St. Patrick’s Day) Illinois will elect the Governor of Illinois along with some Congressman, State Senators and State Representatives. The 17th Congressional District will elect State Senators 36, 47 and the State Representatives will include Districts 71, 72, 73 and 94.
